The THR Team, along with its trusted network of professionals, strives to streamline your project by providing all services that are needed for the new build process including architectural drafting and planning, engineering, permitting, selections overview, construction, and landscape design. Drew Taylor
Owner & General Contractor
As a licensed general contractor, Drew Taylor keeps THR running smoothly. Through planning and communication, he strives to make the construction experience as efficient and effective as possible. Drew has spent the last decade overseeing the construction of both new and old structures while always keeping a close eye on budget and timeline.
Rachel Taylor
owner & home designer
With a Masters in Architecture as her foundation, Rachel Taylor creates and oversees the overall design and details within the spaces THR produces. She has vision for what can be done in a home, and the ability to bring that vision to reality. Rachel’s obsession for authentic design, quality craftsmanship, and concise approach, lead THR’s mission as they continue to create the spaces which they have become known for.
Matt Kilgo
Project Manager
Matt Kilgo is a Charlotte native who embraces the ever-changing nature of work as a Project Manager at THR. He joined the THR team in its infancy in 2014, trading in his desk job a software recruiter, and has played an instrumental part in helping grow the company into the successful business it is today.
When he’s not on job sites you can find him enjoying the outdoors with his wife and two fur-kids, hitting the greens for a round of golf, and even competing in a USGA event or two.
BRIAN PROVINE
PROJECT manager
Brian’s journey in the construction industry began with laying shingles and brick before transitioning into commercial construction before ultimately landing in residential work. He worked as a framer for 22 years before becoming a Project Manager, and joined the THR team in 2023. Brian’s knowledge of home building is extensive given his long spanning career, and he approaches his projects with care, thoughtfulness, and attention to detail that ultimately deliver an exceptionally crafted home.
Beyond his professional achievements, Brian finds happiness in spending time with his wife of 40 years and their 33 year-old daughter. Brian and his family enjoy a myriad of outdoor activities including boating, camping, and gardening.

Logan joined the team in 2017 and brought with him the structure that THR needed to thrive as a growing company. Logan’s rigor and decisiveness, coupled with his more than 22 years of experience in the construction industry, help set everyone – us and our clients - up for success. Tasked with ‘keeping the trains running on time,” Logan’s attention to detail and communication skills are invaluable to providing our clients with an exceptional experience.
Logan’s passions include literature and the visual arts, and you can usually find him enjoying a book on his lunch break. He also loves visiting museums wherever he travels, and one of his life goals is to visit the Gibbs Farm Sculpture Park in Makarau, New Zealand.

Paige is an Appalachian State graduate who received her degree in Interior Design with a minor in Business. Her passion for design blossomed during her childhood summers where she dedicated her time volunteering with a nonprofit that turned houses into homes for families in need.
Paige plays an instrumental part in every home, curating each and every finish, lighting, plumbing, and appliance selection in order to create a cohesive look for each home we build.
When Paige isn’t busy creating cozy, stylish spaces you can find her at the gym channeling her inner athlete. Having played softball for 10 years during school, Paige is a big sports enthusiast and always knows what games are on and who’s playing who!
brenna johnson
home designer
Brenna joined THR in 2020 after spending 6 years in the commercial architecture world with experience ranging from high rise residential in Miami to the design of restaurants around the country. Brenna’s multifaceted experience makes her a jack-of-all-trades and she happens to don many hats in the company, effortlessly juggling roles ranging from architectural designer to event coordination, and even dabbling in marketing initiatives.
When she’s not designing the next THR home Brenna can be found exploring the great outdoors or knitting with her crafting group. Whether it’s spending time at the Whitewater Center with her husband and two rescue dogs, backpacking or training for her next big adventure (she trekked to Everest Base Camp in 2023!), her thirst for adventure knows no bounds.
Michael robinson
project coordinator
Hailing from Texas, Michael is no stranger to the construction realm having grown up with parents in the industry. He studied Architectural Design at Parsons in New York City before striking off to design and manage renovation and new construction projects on his own. With experience under his belt working for various interior designers and remodelers, Michael now finds himself here at THR working as a Project Coordinator where he handles pre construction activities such as estimating, coordinating quotes, permitting, and procurement. Michael’s also always on the hunt to discover new products and technologies that can be implemented in our homes.
Michael loves connecting with nature in his free time, and enjoys camping and hiking with his dog Cherry. He is also a big foodie and enjoys cooking, as well as discovering new restaurants.

ally atwood
Director of Communications & sALES
Ally joined the team in October 2024 as the Director of Communications and Sales, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge as an experienced NC & SC Licensed Realtor. Having dabbled in renovating properties with her husband, she’s very familiar with the process of what it takes to elevate a home to its true potential. This former Carolina Panther’s TopCat brings with her a true passion for establishing meaningful relationships and helping all of our clients call Charlotte home.
Although a Chicago native, Ally prefers the mild climate in Charlotte and enjoys all that NC has to offer. Whether it’s visiting the Blue Ridge Mountains in the fall or spending time with family in the Outer Banks in the summer, you can often find her staying active outdoors with her husband, son and two pups Winston and Dixie.

Billy Arnett

Billy brings a wealth of experience to THR with over 15 years of experience in residential, commercial, and industrial construction, as well as having earned a Bachelor of Arts in History. His journey to the world of construction was preceded by honorable service in the United States Army, which instilled in him a sense of discipline and dedication that permeates every project he undertakes.
Off the job site, Billy finds inspiration in the pages of a good book, embracing the great outdoors, and honing his skills as a woodworker. Billy’s passion for learning and creating have shaped him into a multifaceted employee and a steward of craftsmanship on every job.
john jones
carpenter
A man of quiet strength and unwavering dedication, John Jones served in the US Navy from 1975 to 1981 before embarking on a career in construction. With 30 years in the industry under his belt, John’s attention to detail and expertise as a carpenter are evident on every single one of our homes.
John’s greatest joys in his life are his family, including his five grandkids, and fishing. He travels to Florida every year to indulge in the later, hoping to catch hogfish, snapper, and whatever else the great, wide sea has to offer.
